There's always a first time for everything? It's the same for me and some of my colleagues during our outing at ECP yesterday. All I can say about the experience is Ouch! All that fell, aches, small cuts,... it is a torture session. My feet still ached now. Some of them chooses to cycle first, while the rest choose to Blade (either becoz of other appointment, or like me CANT CYCLE. LOL) .
It all started with some hiccups.... I stood up with the help of a metal cabinet which is beside our seats. Well, I manage to stand up pretty while and manage to "walk" to the grass patch without any difficulty. Phew~ However, things aren't that lucky for Hui. Seconds after he approached the grass patched, he fell. He was sitting on the ground, and we thought he should be alright, since a fall on the grass patch shouldn't cause that much of pain. However, he has been sitting there for quite some time, so a few of them (who feet still have contact with the ground - not on blading shoes) approached him. He hurt his elbow, I think he accidentally twisted the elbow during the falling process. O.o that is terrible. In the end, he decided not to continue with the blade, and requested for a refund. However, the policy of that renting shop is that there is no refund. So... his 1 hour rent shall be split to the rest of us lor. That mean my suffer gonna increase by another 15min~ -____-|||
Anyway, throughout the whole session, i fell four times. Every fall is a disgrace to me, and i have only myself to be blame isn't it? HA! But hor.... seriosuly speaking, i still unable the blade like those people out there... can keep on blade so swiftly as if the winds are bring them along. Mine???? Blade and stop blade and stop. Perhpas this shall be the last time (or last few times) i'm blading, this is such a mental and physical torture.
Anyway, after that, i manage to meet up with my huayue friends. They were at the International Japan School over at Changi for the Jap's Summer Festival event. That event is such a WHOA~ experience. But i was so late that i misses alot of things lor. They even wore the yukuta (a casual summer kimono) for the whole event, by paying a mere $5 rental fee. Envy~ But i manage to join in that traditional crowd dance (should be known as the bon odori dance?), tried that black sesame ice cream (very nice!!!), bought some brown rice crackers, and cheap potato chips. HEE HEE~ There were also a very cheap toy figurine sale. around 9 boxes of toy for jsut $5!!!! but.... i think they arent that popular anime figures, don't know any of them besides ultraman and godzilla, so i didnt buy that.
Also got some souvenir which was one of them, not sure who actually won it. It is a prize of a rather mind and luck challenging game, whereby you uses a THIN PAPER scoop to scoop the water and drip it into the balloon. So you cant be too greedy i guess, but if you are greedy, it all depend on your luck le? i suppose?
Alright, what a fruitful saturday for a summer. Luckily, it didn't rain.
