pinky and greeny day

Finally!!! i got my new IC (replaced). I thought there will be a long queue for the collection of IC. Surprisingly, I just have to approach a specific counter and get it straight away. Dun even have the need to take queue no. or spend the rest of your day there.

I'm also quite surprise that the new NRIC look rather different from the previous one. Firstly, my photo look younger! hahahaha! not that LAO uncle photo anymore. wierd eh? i dunno why i look so old when i took that photo (previous ic) in primary or sec sch! If i show that IC and said it belong to my father, no one will not believe me lor.

Besides the photo, some info is not shown in the new IC anymore. MY BLOOD TYPE! blood type info used to be shown in the nric de, but not the new nric. Hmmm..... maybe the garment afraid that organisations or employers hire people base only on blood type... den emotional people like the ABs can only stick to mediacorp... WHY? because we are TOO DRAMA liao! hahaha!

Oh! and the word "REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE". It used to be black, but now this wordings are in bling bling PINK. and instead of only one photo, there are another small photo below the main photo...

Finally feel like i'm officially singaporean again. becoz all these while i either carry no identity cards around =X or carry my 11B act as if like I'm some military personnel. HAHAHA! so.... since now i got my pink nric, i feel like this is my ORD-II. I'm civilian (SG) again! Ha!

Anyway, after collecting my IC, went to jason's graduation parade @ PLC. haiyo! everything is still to "rush to wait, wait to rush". So many things have changed in the "outside" world, but this kind of situation just never change. waited for one hour plus then the whole parade finally start. they should have start it on time, then those poor parade people may not have the need to kannah rain liao lor. purposely wait for the rain to start huh?. Hello?! GOH is not the rain leh!

with nothing to do while waiting for the parade to start, can only take pictures... take pictures... take pictures (they are roughly the same scene anyway) and... gossip~ aiyah! this is me lah hor? LOL! anyway, the food at the reception is quite nice. i feel like going for a second round, but the queue just never stop for the vegetarian side. by the time i'm about to go for my second round. most of the dishes already FINISHED! ::>_<:: wah lau! typical singaporean we have, and the whole fridge of ice cream also run out just within 10minutes. 10 minutes only leh!!!! anyway, some interesting part: - dunno what the mc is talking about. they are mumbling throughout the whole event - saf band so chuey today. the trumpet just "hun" throughout some song. (for eg. bii~ bi~ bii~ bi~ biiii~~ bi~ becomes bi~ bi~ _ _ _ _ biiiiiii~) one word - CHUEY! - some funny scenes at the distingush honour (prize) presentation ceremony - aunties at the back keep on whinning - uncle keep on saying there are no markings on the parade square. but... hello?! the parades squares are full of yellow tape - when parents are changing the ranks, the whole parade square is full of umbrellas and seems like in a chaos. that scene look like something that we can only see outside "guang yin miao" at "si ma lu". HA! - etc etc etc.
